How does OSTENIL work?
OSTENIL Mini is a clear medicine which contains hyaluronate, a pure animal free substance that is completely biocompatible and imitates the lubricant in the joint. In osteoarthritis, the synovial fluid at the knee joint is much less with no lubrication. This makes the joints largely susceptible to any pain as there is no barrier to cushion the bones. The hyaluronate reduces the pressure on the knee joint allowing it to move freely without pain.
How long will Ostenil provide pain relief?
The treatment will last for six months.
What is in the box?
Sterile pre-filled syringe containing 10 mg/1.0 ml sodium hyaluronate as an isotonic solution
